Final Score - The movie (spoilers)
|
On release today courtesy of Executive Producer David Sullivan 35,000 people are held hostage at a West Ham game as evil men attempt to ruin their lives.
Bit close to home but obviously a fantasy as West Ham are playing in a proper stadium and in European match against ‘Dynamo’. Anyone planning to watch it?
‘The most preposterous film of the year’ .... ‘so cheesy it’s strangely enjoyable’ - The Independent

I'll watch it to see if it rivals the worst film of all time, Dax Shepherd in "Lets go to Prison".

What a surprise the midget is involved in squeezing the last penny out of the Boleyn before it was reduced to rubble. It's like he's giving the final V sign to the fans on his way out of Green Street.

Watched it today. I doubt it will trouble the Oscars but obviously worth watching for the stadium. Loads of stadium footage.
Tony Cottee could be nominated for ‘Best Actor In A Non-Speaking Role’ for his excellent portrayal as a pundit.

I remember the players were just guys in football strips kicking a ball about (setting a joke up for someone here) and the pitch markings looked like they were done while drunk.

Watching this on sky tonight.
My prediction is that it will be great nostalgia. The film will be technically awful buy good cheesy fun.
I also reckon we'll win that euro semi final (the most unbelievable part of the film)

This is the highlight of our weekends. We don't need it ruined by people who cheated and watched it early.
